St Andrews Country Club
The most expensive club to join in Boca Raton, and the most uniform: every home is a custom single-family estate, there are no villas or condos, and every owner is a full member. Two private courses, a 125,000 square foot clubhouse and about one home per acre make it feel more like a private resort than a subdivision. Read the full guide.
Woodfield Country Club and Boca West
Both are large, busy clubs with many more homes and a wider range of prices. Woodfield is known for its tennis program; Boca West has four golf courses and a mix of houses and condos. Entry costs are less than half of St Andrews', but the communities are several times larger.
Broken Sound Club and The Oaks
Broken Sound, in central Boca, spreads 27 villages across a wide price range, from condos to estates. The Oaks gives residents club amenities through the HOA with no initiation fee, a popular choice for buyers who don't play golf.
Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club
East of I-95, Royal Palm pairs a Jack Nicklaus course with deep-water lots and a marina. It is the choice for boaters; St Andrews Country Club is the choice for buyers who want west Boca's larger lots, golf and newer construction.

Questions about Boca Raton country clubs
Which Boca Raton country club is the most exclusive?
St Andrews Country Club has the highest initiation fee among Palm Beach County residential clubs reported in 2026, at $500,000 plus a $50,000 owners contribution, and only custom single-family homes. In east Boca, Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club is the waterfront equivalent.
Which Boca Raton country club communities have no initiation fee?
The Oaks offers club amenities through its HOA without a golf initiation fee. Most other clubs, including St Andrews, Woodfield, Boca West and Broken Sound, require an equity or non-equity membership.
How should I compare country club communities?
Add the entry fee and five years of dues to the price of the home, then compare. Look at golf (number and quality of courses), tennis and pickleball, the age and style of the homes, the size of the community, and whether membership is mandatory.
